Over the years we have worked with lots of organisations to assist them to build a co-created strategic plan with clear objectives and accountabilities.
We spend the workshop exploring what is working and not working in the organisation, what the group believe the organisation could become and then work out what to do to make that amazing vision become a reality.
We can work on identifying the organisational values or if they are already documented, to explore what they mean as behaviours in your workplace.
The group size can vary from 6 to 40, and with a second facilitator on site, we facilitate even larger groups.
A strategic planning workshop is often run off-site and over more than one day to allow for various operational or interest groups to present as well as give the group time to really unpack any issues and build a strong and clear plan with accountabilities and deadlines mapped out.
We have detailed some of the features we look for in a strategic planning workshop venue, particularly an off-site one in our blog post on the subject here.
There may be time to organise some fun (aka team building) activities to keep the energy in the room at optimal levels, however, we believe that getting the group to work together to build a plan is also a great way to build the team! Find out how we add fun into our workshops in a linkedIn article here.
Talk to our team to discuss your objectives and team size and we will work together to build an agenda to suit your organisation’s needs.
